These islands offer a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Perfect for a stand-up paddle board adventure.

Heading a bit east and north, Finland’s iconic Turku Archipelago, made up of over 20,000 islands, is a paradise for those seeking peace, adventure, and natural beauty. Whether you’re kayaking between islands, cycling along coastal roads, or simply relaxing in the quiet charm of the villages, you’ll quickly find that the archipelago offers a welcoming embrace for all who visit. The Kvarken Archipelago in Finland, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, also stands out for its unique geological features and fascinating land uplift phenomenon, making it a must-see destination for those interested in Earth’s natural history.
